Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy has the functions of training and fostering teachers at college level, and doing scientific researches to meet the needs of social economic development.

Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy is directly under the Ministry of Education and Training, which benefits all policies and incentives like other national universities and colleges promulgated by Government.

Due to the decision No: 447/TTG signed on July 24, 1996 by Prime Minister in order to upgrade Nursery and Kindergarten Teacher Training School into Nursery and Kindergarten Teacher Training College No.2 and the decision No: 350/QĐ-BGDĐT in order to rename into Nha Trang National College of Pedagogy.
Objectives:

   1. To train and foster teaching staff at college level with academic qualifications on Early Childhood, Music, Fine-art, Physical and Inclusive Education for kindergartens, primary and secondary school by forms of regular and irregular training.

   2. To do scientific researches and expand technology with the aim at meeting the need of social economic development in the nation, especially in the regions of Central Vietnam.

   3. To establish and expand cooperative relations with domestic and foreign institutes and universities in the field of education, scientific research and other fields.
